Our project in photography focuses on the beauty and stillness found in the microscopic world. We have deliberately chosen to explore this realm before the widespread adoption of AI technologies. We aim to bridge the gap between microscopy and the larger world through artistic expression. Our project emphasizes the central role of humanity as the measure and point of reference in the world. We believe that in today's technologically-driven world, there is a tendency to rely heavily on artificial intelligence and augmented reality for creative endeavors. However, we have intentionally chosen to take a different path. By embracing the power of the human eye, artistic intuition, and manual processes, we aim to convey a sense of authenticity and depth in our photographs.
Through our project, we seek to remind viewers of the significance of the human perspective. We consider ourselves as the measure and point of reference in the world, recognizing the unique role that humanity plays in observing, interpreting, and appreciating the wonders of the natural world.
Furthermore, we believe that the fusion of art and science in our project can serve as a metaphor for the interconnectedness of all things. Our photographs showcase the beauty and static nature of the microscopic world, reminding us that even the tiniest elements can hold immense significance.
